Running Playlists

If you’re anything like me, you need music to get you going on a run.  If my iPod battery runs out, I don’t run.  I just can’t.  I need that upbeat music pounding in my ear… telling me to go faster and be energetic!  Here’s my current favorite playlist on my iPod (current music).  If you right click the picture, you can save it to a word doc and print it out.  Feel free to PIN and share on Pinterest too!  Check out the links below for several more running playlists.

Here are a collection of links to other running tunes playlists- I tried to include a variety in case you do not have my taste in music!

Awesome post! I can never have too many songs to shuffle in my playlist! Can’t wait to look through all of these! Now that I’m into the 25+ minute runs on c25k I really NEED some good beats to keep pushing me! Thanks!

I can’t wait to add some new tunes to my playlist…and to click over to all of those lists!!! Thank you, Lori! You are so hip & current…I don’t think I recognized ONE song on your list. Someone needs to join 2012 (me). ;)

Here’s my current favorite list! Thanks for sharing yours. 1. Empire State of Mind by JayZ (for a warmup) 2. The Time (Dirty Bit) by Black Eyed Peas 3. Run by FloRida feat. RedFoo (this one was awesome for running!!) 4. Liv Tonight by Nelly and Keri Hilson 5. Turn Up The Radio by Madonna – Offer Nissim Remix 6. Include Me Out by Robyn 7. TimeBomb (Extended Version by Kylie Minogue 8. Till The World Ends by Britney Spears (Bloody Beatroots Extended Remix) 9. Come n Go by Pitbull feat Enrique Iglesias 10. Run The World (Girls) by Beyonce 11. Roll by FloRida w/Sean Kingston (this one wasn’t a perfect fit tempo wise) 12. In the Ayer by Flo Rida w/will i am 13. Don’t Trust Me by 3 Oh 3 (I didn’t really mean to include this one in this mix – it’ll probably get the boot) 14. Starstrukk by 3 Oh 3 15. What I’ve Done by Linkin Park 16. Electricity by Ashley Jana 17. I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz for cool down – the whole thing is roughly 1:10. It also is like a little tiny summary of my life b/c I love/miss almost everything about New York (hence #1) and as the last song says I don’t plan on giving up at least on the running goals. :-)

I’m only a few weeks away from finishing the C25K program so I need something new to keep me motivated. I signed up for a 5k on October 13th so I really can’t punk out now. Thanks for the great lists!
